Sunday Homemaker Link Up| God is Worthy of our Praise

Praise the Lord for He is good!!

Yesterday we celebrated my 6th child’s 1st birthday. With a new house full of family and friends I was overwhelmed with the way God has loved us.

And…though she was a bit mesmerized by it all…she was adorable!! Forgive my obnoxious baby cake  photo!!

I digress!

He not only knows the number of the hairs on this little one’s head, BUT…

Our God  knows the names of every star in the sky!!

He is worthy of my praise.

He is worthy of your praise.

As I read through Psalm 147 this week I remembered how I was once brokenhearted and the Lord healed my wounds. God, who created the heavens and earth determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name!! It is so huge and yet detailed!

Whatever you are going through today, my heart for you is to remember you serve a Mighty God, who knows more than we even think to try to know!

May you ponder the God who, knowing the number of the stars in the universe, still loved tiny you so much He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for your sins.

Ponder the Creator of the Universe who conquered sin and death, names the stars and is worthy of our praise.

The truth is powerful!!

Do not let your circumstances allow you to overlook the power, knowledge and love of our Holy God.

Happy Sunday!!
